Carrie Larsh, Office Manager

Carrie believes that every person is a treasure and wants each client and potential client to feel seen and valued. She recognizes that reaching out for help takes tremendous courage, and no one should have to walk through that process alone. Carrie is passionate about clients receiving the best care possible, and that includes caring for clients through every phone call, text message, and email. She sees herself as the gatekeeper of the schedule, and strives to make sure that our clients find the counselor that is the best fit for them. When she is not answering emails or taking calls, Carrie enjoys wrangling her 6 kids with her husband, getting lost in a historical fiction novel, painting wooden peg dolls, and eating Mexican food.

Chantel Longino, LCSW (EMDR and TBRI trained)

Her passion is to create a space where her clients feel known, valued, and safe and to walk alongside them as they seek truth, clarity, and restoration. Sandtray is one of her absolute favorite tools in the therapy room. Chantel has a furry co-therapist, Scarlet, who will do just about anything for a belly rub and cheese cubes.

In the world outside of her TFC playroom, she is a wife and a mom to two rambunctious boys, two lazy dogs, and the occasional bonus child/teen through foster care. Their family loves to adventure outside when it’s not 100 degrees. She enjoys cold brew coffee, laminating all the things, board games, and a really good nap.

Scarlet Longino, Furry Therapist

Scarlet is the furriest and snooziest therapist at Tyler Family Counseling. She is Chantel’s four-year-old Wheaten Terrier. You’ll usually find Scarlet curled up like a croissant in her bed beside the couch or snuggled against the art cart. Even though she naps a lot, she’ll jump up on the couch with you or lay next to you on the floor when you need her. She has big scared feelings about school buses, the ice machine at her house, and black trash bags… but she lets mom tell clients all about it so that we can find ways to feel brave together. Scarlet’s favorite human food is cheese- especially white cheddar cheeto puffs, goldfish crackers, and cheese cubes.
